Coreterno: Perfumes and Candles Find Their Place at Who’s Next

Founded in 2015 by the Italian duo Michelangelo Brancato and Francilla Ronchi, Coreterno is a niche perfume brand whose name means “eternal heart” in Italian, and the brand creates unique candles imbued with esotericism. Their style is a blend of rock, almost punk aesthetics, and a mystical aura, forming an invisible bridge between the ancient and the modern.

Whether perfumes or candles, each precious object tells a story and offers a unique sensory experience, immersing the user in Coreterno's world. At Who’s Next, Julien Silas, manager of the Utopia agency, shares more about Coreterno’s ambitions.

What is your ambition for this edition of Who’s Next?


To find new customers and introduce the brand to a broader audience. We’re here to grow our business in cities where we currently lack outlets.


Is this your second time at Who’s Next?


Yes, our first edition in January 2024 went very well. We had a great event, exceeding expectations, even though we came without specific goals. The trial proved more than successful, so we’re back for a second round.

Have you met any new prospects on the first day of Who’s Next?


Yes, we’ve already signed new customers—several, in fact. We’ve already made the event worthwhile financially, and it’s a great start. We’ve also made some promising international contacts.


Coreterno specialises in candles and perfumes, a particularly trendy niche market.


The brand started with T-shirts before moving into candles, and perfumes came later. We’re increasingly developing niche perfumery because there’s a genuine consumer demand for distinctive, non-mainstream products, unlike those offered by major luxury brands.

Coreterno stands out for its bold, daring artistic direction.


Exactly. There’s something frank and audacious in the very wording we use and how we present the brand. There’s a strong, radical vision behind every Coreterno piece —a very rock, almost punk vibe that people love. It’s a perfume with character.


By participating in Who’s Next, is your aim to position Coreterno products as fashion accessories?


Perfumes and candles are fashion objects as much as any other. Our products are especially popular in concept stores because they refine a creative vision.
