Sac&Co, an Athenian Denim Brand

Timeless, artisanal, and sustainable: denim is reinvented at the Athenian brand Sac&Co.

At the Athenian workshop of Sac&Co, which also serves as a showroom, love for denim is a family affair. Founded in 2019 in the vibrant Greek capital, the brand set itself the challenge of crafting pieces from the fashion world’s most iconic fabric while adhering to a virtuous and sustainable production process—without ever compromising on style. Made from high-quality materials, Sac&Co unveils modern designs that marry tradition with innovation, drawing inspiration from street fashion. Meet a passionate creative duo, at work and in life.

Why did you create a denim brand?

It’s one of the key elements in fashion today. It’s everywhere, all the time, across all continents—in jeans, shirts, and jackets. The reality is: everyone wears denim.

Like many fashion duos today, you’re a married couple. Your family business is based in Athens.

We created Sac&Co five years ago, and we produce almost everything at home. Eco-responsibility is at the heart of our DNA. Everything is handmade, in-house, within the same space. More than a brand, it’s an identity, a lifestyle. Everything here is made with immense love.

Describe the brand’s DNA

We believe in a responsible approach to production. For us, sustainability isn’t a mere trend—it’s a commitment. Innovation is thus central to our creations. We are genuinely driven by the desire to push the boundaries of denim fashion. To do this, we use the latest innovations and experiment. It’s a long-term effort.

How would you describe Sac&Co’s style?

Our collections combine cutting-edge trends with a timeless style, and our pieces are as unique and distinctive as the people who wear them.

Jeans are one of the worst polluters in the modern wardrobe, especially due to the water consumption involved in their production. How can this piece be made more eco-friendly?

We strive to have a positive impact on the planet by producing our pieces locally in Athens, choosing environmentally friendly materials, and reducing waste.

This is your third time at Who’s Next. Why choose to come here to Paris?

It has always been our first option. It’s a great starting point to test our products and gauge professional interest on an international scale. Our clients are mainly European but also located in Cyprus, Lebanon, and Egypt. Today, we want to expand our market even further, which is why we’re here at Who’s Next. If we manage to find new prospects this season, we’ll return in winter for the next edition.
