Premiere Classe celebrates emerging creativity alongside the winners of the Hyères Festival

In the vibrant world of creative industries, the Hyères International Festival of Fashion, Photography, and Accessories has been a guiding light for emerging talents since 1986. This year, three of the winners from its 38th edition join the selection at the Premiere Classe trade show, a prestigious platform for up-and-coming designers.

The partnership between the festival and WSN manifests in a dedicated space featuring stands for these young designers. Located at the heart of areas B and C at Carrousel du Louvre, from the 28th to the 30th of September, visitors will be treated to the work of three rising stars: Victor Salinier, Gabrielle Huguenot, and Christiane Schwambach. Their creations, blending art and design, will be on display for the enjoyment of visitors.

A Unique Opportunity for the Winners

The collaboration between the Hyères Festival and Premiere Classe provides creators with a unique platform to showcase their work to an audience of professionals, collectors, and international buyers. This joint initiative not only gives the winners increased visibility, but is also supported by a bespoke mentoring programme. For two months, from July to August, the designers receive personalised guidance, helping them refine their artistic vision and develop ambitious projects.

In March 2024, during an initial presentation at Premiere Classe, the winners already had the chance to build connections and initiate promising collaborations. This latest edition marks a decisive step in continuing this momentum, reflecting the inspiring journeys of each designer.

The Winners Speak

Victor Salinier shares: "The Hyères Festival allowed me to exhibit for the first time and to initiate a new dialogue with the public. At Premiere Classe, I will be able to continue and perfect this dialogue, and I hope the trust placed in me will extend to the professionals and buyers attending. I'm excited to meet industry experts and have my work critiqued by fresh eyes."

Gabrielle Huguenot, whose practice bridges art and design, expresses her aspirations: "The award I won put a spotlight on my work. A year later, I want to broaden the scope of my collaborations and reveal other facets of my creations. Premiere Classe is an exceptional opportunity to meet professionals and exchange ideas about my creative vision."

Lastly, Christiane Schwambach, who blends creativity with artisanal craftsmanship, shares her gratitude: "Participating in the Hyères Festival and Premiere Classe has been a dream. Thanks to this journey, I’ve had the opportunity to meet incredible talents and collaborate with prestigious maisons like Hermès. These experiences have allowed me to grow artistically and strengthen my future projects."

These emerging designers, each carrying a transformative and promising vision, await you at the Hyères Festival space at Premiere Classe. Don't miss the chance to discover their creations – the future of fashion is being shaped here, through the eyes of these exceptional talents.
