A brand born from artisanal excellence
Catarzi 1910 has its roots in a long-standing tradition of Tuscan craftsmanship. For over a century, the house has created hats and accessories, notably for major international brands. However, in 2010, marking their centenary, the Catarzi family decided to launch their own label. “We wanted to create something that was ours, that reflected our expertise, craftsmanship, and creativity,” explains Stefania Nistri. This drive to highlight their expertise became the essence of the brand, combining modernity and tradition through conceptual designs that showcase the intricate artisan details of their creations.
SS25: an ode to nature and innovation
The Spring-Summer 2025 collection, showcased at Premiere Classe, marks a new milestone in Catarzi 1910’s creative journey. Titled Emotional Heritage, it focuses on natural and 100% sustainable materials. “This collection reflects a time of great social and environmental change,” Stefania notes. The main theme is energy, a natural vitality expressed through vibrant hues like orange, contrasted with earthy and soothing tones.
The collection also explores a unisex identity, with timeless denim pieces that are universal and suited to a contemporary mindset. “We aimed to blend avant-garde and tradition, to create leather goods and hats that endure through the ages,” the designer explains. This balance is evident in the use of natural fibers, such as straw and leather, which are foundational to the brand’s artisanal heritage.
Craftsmanship at the heart of the Atelier Collection
A highlight of this presentation is the Atelier Collection capsule, embodying the essence of Catarzi 1910’s high-end craftsmanship. “This capsule is a tribute to our past, to all that our ancestors built,” Stefania shares. The forbici, or scissors, a strong symbol in the capsule, recall the tool used by one of the family’s ancestors to “cut and give new life,” symbolising renewal and rebirth.
Each piece in the collection illustrates this dedication to detail and quality, a philosophy passed down through generations within the Catarzi house. The hats and accessories are crafted with exceptional attention to detail, combining traditional techniques with contemporary touches to meet the needs of an ever-evolving market.
Premiere Classe: an essential event for Catarzi 1910
For over 20 years, Catarzi 1910 has participated in Premiere Classe, an unmissable event during Paris Fashion Week for the brand. “Paris is an unparalleled fashion capital for us. Premiere Classe attracts a highly diverse international clientele, making it a unique meeting point for creativity and business,” Stefania states. “The quality of exhibitors and the diversity of creative offerings set Premiere Classe apart from other fairs.”
Stefania also highlights Paris’s importance in attracting a global clientele: “Unlike Milan, Paris has the ability to attract buyers from Japan, Asia, and the United States. Here, the offering is more complete, more global.” Despite a challenging commercial season, Catarzi 1910 exceeded its expectations, confirming the event’s importance for the brand’s commercial development.

Amidst a complex global context, Catarzi 1910 focuses on continuity and the strength of its heritage. “Our history is our greatest asset. It reassures our clients of our ability to endure and remain present, even in challenging times,” Stefania concludes. With a collection deeply rooted in Tuscan craftsmanship yet open to contemporary influences, Catarzi 1910 embodies a new form of high-end accessory where sustainability and innovation serve a century-old craft.
