Guglielmo Rotta: tradition and innovation in the service of a timeless classic

Founded in 1954 by the current owner’s parents, Antonio, the Italian shoe brand Guglielmo Rotta is the perfect example of a family craftsmanship that has evolved while remaining true to its roots. At this edition, the brand presented a collection that perfectly illustrates its commitment to quality, timelessness, and Italian craftsmanship.

"Each shoe is designed and made in Italy, with attention to detail that reflects our family’s heritage," explains the brand’s representative. While being mindful of trends, Antonio and his team of designers highlight pieces that are both elegant and durable, crafted to provide comfort and confidence to those who wear them.

Between heritage and sustainability, the elegance of Guglielmo Rotta shoes

The philosophy of Guglielmo Rotta is based on minimalist design, a "refined simplicity" that allows each product to endure through the seasons without losing its appeal. "We create timeless pieces, certainly influenced by current trends, but which remain faithful to our DNA. The shoe must above all be functional and elegant." The brand strives to offer products that, while incorporating modern elements, remain resolutely classic, thus ensuring longevity in both style and use.

Who’s Next was carefully chosen by the brand for its diversity and selective clientele. "We had been looking for an event for a while that could give the right visibility to our products. Here, we find the clients and buyers we want to target," Antonio explains.

The experience at Who’s Next

The experience at Who’s Next allowed Guglielmo Rotta to forge new connections with European partners while exploring new markets such as Asia. "We’ve already made some interesting contacts with clients, and this dynamic reassures us about consolidating our relationships in Europe, while remaining open to new opportunities," he affirms. The show, which brought together an international clientele, offered the brand an ideal platform to showcase its technical expertise and craftsmanship to a wider and more diverse audience.

"What makes Who’s Next unique is the diversity of offerings and the selectivity of the products on display," notes the Guglielmo Rotta representative. He also praised the show’s organisation, finding it "perfectly suited" to the needs of exhibitors. This first participation could mark the beginning of a longer collaboration with the event.

By combining tradition and modernity, Guglielmo Rotta demonstrates an ability to stay true to its heritage while evolving with current trends, a key challenge in today’s creative landscape, according to Antonio.
