Bijorhca: Genderless jewellery makes its mark

From January 20 to 22 at Bijorhca, more and more brands are offering unisex collections.

What's the difference between women's and men's jewellery? For a long time, the answer was directly in the aesthetics of the pieces: thicker, rougher, monochrome pieces for men and colours, details and subtlety for women.

It wasn't until the end of the 20th century that jewellery houses began experimenting with unisex jewellery, applauded for its androgynous, timeless appeal. Today, fashion is increasingly inclusive, from catwalks to street style, and wardrobes are blending together, right down to the accessories. Jewellery is also genderless, and more and more brands are taking the plunge. At Bijorhca, some of them will be on show from 20 to 22 January 2024.
