Under my umbrella

To stay dry in style, Who's Next is unveiling its selection of rain-compatible brands, to be met from 20 to 22 January 2024 in Paris.

Defining a winter fashion outfit to cope with bad weather is a challenge for brands that combines R&D and DA.  Exactly 200 years ago, a Scottish engineer made clothing rainproof by developing the first waterproof fabric. A few years later, Thomas Burberry created the legendary gabardine, and waterproofing has since taken on new forms, from the K-way to rain boots.

Today, the waterproof jacket has become a fashion item in its own right. From big names to very young designers, everyone is adopting the codes of rainwear to make them essential items in their collections. Sacrificing style to withstand the elements is no longer a necessity, as many brands have developed their own technology to cope with the weather. Who's Next presents its selection of brands that protect against water, from head to toe.
