Premiere Classe x Eyes On Talents
Premiere Classe and Eyes on Talents create a prize to elect the new creative personality born during the pandemic.
Through this award, Premiere Classe wishes to highlight the creators of tomorrow who have been able to adapt, reinvent themselves, and continue to create in unusual conditions and obstacles.
Eyes on Talents is a digital platform that facilitates opportunities for the business world to meet and collaborate with emerging talents. The platform counts among its members' many brands with a strong innovative and creative dimension.This prize brought together around forty candidates eager to showcase their creations and innovations. After a first selection, six finalists were selected for the final price:
Marianna Spinelli
“West Clint Coast” Marianna Spinelli is a young clothing designer who graduated from NABA (Milan). Her project "West Clint Coast" was born from personal conjunction between the past and the present. This project inscribes female revenge in contrast to the masculinity of the Far West. The designer celebrates femininity through forms and reinterprets typical Western-style characters in a more feminine and contemporary perspective.
Laura Lins
"this is not an egg" "This is not an egg" Laura Lins is a jewelry designer who explores contrasts and organic shapes reflecting our liberty. She sculpts her copper pieces by hand and highlights the imperfections that appear in the manual process of creating each piece, which is unique. Laura Lins is inspired by the contrast between the fluidity of her development and the material's rigidity with which she works.
Evgeniia Kazarezova
"Werable vase" "Werable vase" Evgeniia Kazarezova is a designer who works with ceramics and applies traditional methods to contemporary design objects. The designer represents the relationship between modern man and flora through her creations which combine traditional techniques and modern technologies. Evgeniia brings a functional aspect to her designs which she makes by hand and baked in her studio in Bratislava. Her project "Wearable vase" is an accessory that allows you to wear flowers as part of her look; this creation expresses the interaction between nature, contemporary art, and fashion.
Deborah Enkaoua
"ENKAOUA" "ENKAOUA" ENKAOUA is a non-gendered jewelry design label that was founded in 2018 by Deborah Enkaoua. The label has an aesthetic playing on three aspects: volume, geometry, and light. Designer Deborah Enkaoua mixes masculine and feminine codes to achieve raw and consistent jewelry with today's society and the people who make it up. ENKAOUA asserts itself in total opposition to the universe of traditional jewelry; its collections are inspired by social phenomena and mark the label's creative commitment.
Luke Derrick
“Getting Away With It" “Getting Away With It" Luke Derrick is a designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins. His project "Getting Away With It" is a collection of clothing directly inspired by the 2020 pandemic and its multiple adaptations that man and clothing have known during this period. His clothes combine the codes of urban city clothes such as the trench coat or the suit jacket with materials and structures found in comfortable clothes worn at home. Luke Derrick playfully offers the post-Covid future of the urban man's wardrobe.
Michelle Lowe-Holder
"Modular" "Modular" Michelle Lowe-Holder is a designer of handcrafted eco-hybrid and eco-responsible accessories combining unexpected materials to create remarkable pieces. The designer has been working on her art for ten years and has collaborated with many brands. As a result, her creations require many techniques specific to the materials she uses. "Modular" is a collection of accessories based on an amalgamation of durable materials cut into modules and hand-woven to create unique pieces.The Eyes on Talents x Premiere Classe winner will be announced at the Premiere Classe closing evening on Sunday, October 3. In addition, they will benefit from a stand offered at the next edition in March 2022 and a dedicated communication with the Eyes on Talents community.
